The University College of Law which is one of the very few university institutions in India offering post graduation and diploma courses in IPRs, has constituted an IPR Cell. The main aim of the Cell is to disseminate knowledge of IPR, to clarify the doubts regarding the management of Intellectual Property like technology transfer, licensing, assignment and other forms of transfers, guiding and counseling the researchers, innovators, authors and entrepreneurs etc in managing and protecting their IPRs, and to act as a nodal agency between the universities, IPR offices, and industry.
